ECFTP

Eon Clash FTP Lite is a FTP utility that is completely freeware.   ECFTP is comperable to other products such as WS-FTP and Cute FTP (both of witch cost at least $30).   You can view the license agreement for ECFTP here.   Some of the features that you will find in ECFTP are as follows:

  • Complete rewrite of code base, this version is not based on the Indy Demo in any way.
  • Plugin Support
  • Accepts files dropped from explorer.
  • Encoding support for FTP Sites file. (This is done through a module so it can be upgraded to better security)
  • Move view modes of files and folders.
  • New look and feel (more like a Windows XP application).
  • CD Writer module to be released soon (will only work under XP).
  • CHMOD module to be released soon (will work under any windows version on any unix server).
  • Ability to switch upload and download types to and from ASCII and Binary.
  • Passive and Active modes available for any site.
  • Customizeable Connection Ports.
  • View and configure installed modules.
  • Better event log (more information).
  • Home directory and back buttons readily available on the tool bar.
  • Live Pong's and Antifreeze code in place.
  • Soon an SDK will be published so that anyone can write modules for ECFTP.
  • New help files (not complete yet, but will be posted as soon as they are).
  • New version module to be released soon (checks for newer versions of ECFTP when you run and are connected to the internet).
  • Better securiy module available (password protects sites) upon request (email mailto:webmaster@eonclash.com)
  • Module for editing known file types on the server soon to be released.

  • Basic Encryption - Does a basic encoding of your passwords and ftp site information.
  • Basic Encryption with Password - Same as Basic Encryption only has a password feature on it.
  • CHMod - Allows you to perform the CHMod command on Unix Servers.
  • DWS2 Scripting - Allows you to script common functions such as site uploads and downloads.
